This Christmas Songbook is a collection of 25 original songs, each focusing on an aspect of Jesus' birth. In addition to telling the story of the First Advent as recorded in the Bible, some of the songs describe how various traditions point us to Jesus and remind us that he is our Savior. As stand-alone pieces, the songs in this collection can be used in a variety of venues such as churches, children's ministries and choirs, or group sing-alongs. Originally compiled to compliment daily Advent activities for family worships, this collection provides a song for each day of December through Christmas Day. The first 8 pages consist of short, daily Advent readings with corresponding Bible verses to introduce each song.
